As a DIY website builder, we’re naturally all about DIY projects. This father's day, let dad know you care with a present that you’ve made all by yourself! We’ve scoured the internet for DIY ideas for gifts that are unique, lovable and practical.
Easy - Moderate Skill:
You don’t need too many materials or mastery over any advanced crafting moves to make these beautiful presents.
All you need is an old tie and some simple sewing skills to get this project going. This case protects dad’s glasses, looks stylish, and takes up very little space. Score!
Get thrifting for some old scrabble tiles and get ready to make some unique and personal drink coasters. All you need is some super strong glue, cork board, and scrabble tiles. Go go go!!
We had to sneak this one in, of course! Get dad set up with his very own website. Does he need one to promote his work, or would he love a family site filled with photos and stories of his favorite family memories? We say, the answer is yes!
These projects take a bit of skill or require special tools, take a look and see if you’re up to the challenge!
If you’ve got a wine drinker in the family, keep the bottles and get ready to make a set of unique glasses. You’ll need a bottle cutter, sandpaper and some safety sense to get it done.
It's gorgeous! Enough said. This project requires a wood log wedge, polyurethane and a bit of woodwork.
Take a look at the local used book store, thrift shop, or library sale - and get ready to put some quirky bookends on dad’s shelf.
What do you think of our list? Let us know how your projects go in the comments! Happy father's day!
