Looking to reset your password for a domain email with Website.com?
Regularly changing your password is a great practice for your security. (Note that changing your password for your Website.com account, or in your Website.com Member Dashboard will not change the password for your email accounts.)
This is especially useful because you may have multiple email accounts under one Website.com account, so they will need to have different passwords.
There are 2 methods to change the password – first, by logging into your own email account, or change passwords for email accounts if you are the domain email admin.
To change the password for your email account, this first method works if you did not forget your email login but you simply want to reset your password for security purposes.
1)Go to Website.com, and click webmail to log directly into your email account.
2)Now click More > click Settings > click Change Password.
If you forgot your email password, you can only reset it if you are the domain email admin. If you are a domain email user under an account that is not yours, you must ask the domain admin to use this method to reset their email for you.
1)Go to Website.com, and log into your website.com account.
2)In the Member Dashboard, click My Domain Email on the left, and then click Advanced settings.
3)Click to Log in as Domain Email Administrator.
4)On the top, click More > Domain settings
5)Now click on the email account you want to change the password for.
6)Click the 3 dots on the top and choose Change Password.
7)Now you can change the password for that email account.
Reminder that after you’ve changed the password, to let the email account user know of these changes, and to update it on for all your saved passwords on devices and email clients.
