Here’s one tweak that will make a big impact on your SEO and the way your website is perceived: your site title.
Your site title will appear when your website is shown in search engine results, and if you look at your published website, the site title appears beside the favicon (i.e. the image that appears in the browser tab). If you’re using the Website.com site builder to make your website, by default, your domain name will be displayed there.
Follow these steps to quickly change your website’s site title using the Website.com site builder.

Hi there! I’m going to show you a quick tip that can make a HUGE difference for your SEO, and the way your website will be perceived.
If you’ve ever looked at your published website, you’ll notice that beside the favicon (which is the image that appears in the browser tab), there is a site title.
By default, when you make your website using the site builder, it will display your domain name.
But to craft a more professional image, and also to let search engines know more about what your website is about, you may want to customize that to your business name.
So to change the Site Title, I’m logged into the editor, and I’ll choose Marketing and SEO.
Now click Site Seo.
And it’s time to customize your site title.
So this is the title that will appear in the browser tab next to my favicon, and also can appear as the title of your website in search engine results.
You can also customize the site description, which can also appear in search engine results.
So now that this is done, let’s publish!
One more thing before I go, is I’ll point out that you should also add page titles and descriptions to let search engines know what your website is about.
These are different from the site title.
To do that, we’ll go back to start, click Manage Pages, and then beside each page, click the pencil icon.
Choose Page Seo.
And now you can customize the page title and description for this page.
So I’ll publish the website changes.
And now I’ll go to the website.
You’ll see the site title here.
