Why would you want to hide a section on your website? Maybe you have a limited time promo you only want to display on certain dates, or perhaps you’re working on a section that you don’t to publish just yet. By hiding a section on your website, it will not be removed from the site builder, but it will not appear in your published website.

Hi there! Here’s a quick video to show you how to make use of the Hide section function.
When you hide a section on your website page, it will not appear on your live site, but the layout and content that you’ve edited for the section will remain saved in your site editor.
This is useful for example if you have a limited time promo that you want to show only on certain dates, or you started working on a section but have not finished it yet, and want to publish other parts of your website without that section going live.
The good thing about hiding a section is that while it will not appear on your website, it is not removed from your design.
So you can easily unhide the section when you’re ready, and publish the site so that it will be seen on your website.
So I’m logged into the website builder, and let’s say that I wanted to start making a contact form. So I’ll add a section here, and then I’ll choose to add a contact form section, and now I’ll choose this layout.
So let’s say I haven’t customized the fields for it yet, but I want to publish my website with this section hidden, I just have to click on this section so I see the mini toolbar, and then I can click on this eye icon to hide it.
So let’s go to the preview, and we’ll see that the section does not appear on the live site.
Let’s go back to the editor, and now if we want to unhide the section, all you have to do is look for the hidden section in your design, so you see it says hidden section, click on it to trigger the mini toolbar, and click the eye to make the section visible on your website again.
Now when you publish the website, this section will now be visible on your site.
So we’ll click Publish, and we can see it right here.
