We’ve introduced a new feature to stay connected with your visitors: WhatsApp Chat Button! By placing a WhatsApp chat button on your web pages, visitors can click to chat with you from your website, and you can keep the conversation going from your WhatsApp account.
Before you begin, make sure that you already have an active WhatsApp account.
To add WhatsApp Chat to your website:
1. Click + Add Elements > Social > WhatsApp Chat Button.
2. Click on the WhatsApp button element and click Edit Account in the mini toolbar.
3. Connect your WhatsApp account by entering the phone number for your WhatsApp account. It’s important to use the full international phone number format, which is the country code, city code, and local phone number (e.g. 14085551234). Omit dashes, brackets or leading 0s.
4. Publish your website to see your WhatsApp Chat Button go live on your site!
When it’s live, visitors can click the WhatsApp button to log into their WhatsApp account and message you directly through WhatsApp.
Depending on how you want to use this WhatsApp click to chat feature, it could be useful to place this button on your Contact page, or include one on the bottom right corner of each web page. Sky’s the limit – feel free to play around with your design!
